1. Due to heavy snow in surrounding areas, quite a few key players couldn't make it to the meetings so only one went ahead. I managed to stay awake (just), helped by the amusement of watching a rather eccentric and very posh judge struggling to get to grips with the mechanics of a conference call to an absent participant.
2. As one meeting was cancelled, I got through more work than I would have done, although being so tired it was like wading through treacle by the end of the day.
3. We never did get the heavy snow in our neck of the woods (why 'neck'? peculiar expression! I digress...), just a little sprinkling. I was quite disappointed!
4. Mum was in a good mood and even told a story I'd never heard before!!
