When I started this blog in March 2008, I was steadily losing my grip, trying to cope with mum's (undiagnosed at that point) dementia and full time work. Prozac eventually saved me from total meltdown and mum spent her last couple of years much more settled in a care home. She died, aged 92, on 10 November 2011. Life will be very different from now on............

Somewhere along the way, they lost the idea of the power-switch. It should be a no-brainer.
I recently got an MP3 player with a switch labelled "on, off". It was refreshingly easy to use. Fat chance of finding a cell phone that is easy to use. You pay twice as much to get an iPod, and they forget a power switch also.
And then most cell phones don't use standard number button layouts, so it makes it hard to dial a number.
I keep saying I'll have an early night, sometimes I even mean it, but I hardly ever do it.
And finally I've figured out how to use my new 'share stuff between the computer and the mobile phone' programme, so perhaps I will get that early night some time soon! Yawn. Cheers dmarks and dame x
