When I started this blog in March 2008, I was steadily losing my grip, trying to cope with mum's (undiagnosed at that point) dementia and full time work. Prozac eventually saved me from total meltdown and mum spent her last couple of years much more settled in a care home. She died, aged 92, on 10 November 2011. Life will be very different from now on............

I wonder what they'd have done if you'd drifted off to sleep?
My nephew is in London studying this summer. Haven't heard much from him so he must be having fun.
your boss was right. you should have raised your hand. and said. this is as boring as all cornbreadhell. i hereby call for a cuppa soup makin' break! any seconds on that motion?
said with a smile, you might not get fired. or even demoted.
ps - 'buggered the bursar' is ffunny.
Cornbread, you are a funny guy.
Come back to us.
lily, thats not as bad as what I did. I decided to call my bosses boss and straighten his arse out.
I went on a major tirade, and there was a moment of silence before he quite calmly said
"bulletholes, what are you so mad about?"
And at that point I couldn't really say...I was just....mad!
I have an idea, why don't you all come to the next team meeting, you could work out a rota for poking me in the ribs whenever my eyes start to cross :-)
I like that de-motivational Poster that says:
"Meetings...None of us is as dumb as all of us"
