When I started this blog in March 2008, I was steadily losing my grip, trying to cope with mum's (undiagnosed at that point) dementia and full time work. Prozac eventually saved me from total meltdown and mum spent her last couple of years much more settled in a care home. She died, aged 92, on 10 November 2011. Life will be very different from now on............

She is awesome! Everyone is talking about her on this side of the pond too.
I was watching the show when she came on. When she started to sing, I was so stunned I didn't think to call my husband in from the other room. I've just shown him the Youtube video tonight!
I have been following her since she was on the show. I think her voice is tremendous, I hope she does well but won't get spoilt along the way, she has such a natural way with her and down to earth. Any makeover she has should be at her own request and not some glitzy publicist. Stay clean and pure Susan, I say.
