Oh Lily, I'm so sorry. I know it's been a long hard road and that there wasn't any way back for your Mum but it's still awful to lose her, as I found out last year (almost to the day). What is it about November, eh?

Thank you for sharing the photos of your Mum in happier times.

Thank you also for being a supportive friend through my own experience. I'm sure your story has touched and helped many people facing anxious decisions about their Parents' welfare.

I hope you can relax now, after the funeral, in the knowledge that you did the best you could to ensure your Mum was well-provided for when she needed it most. You are a good Daughter

Hugs x

Thank you both for your kind thoughts. I'll put some words together when it's less frantic at this end x x

Dear Lily:
I hope you are okay and comforted by the thought that you were a good daughter. RIP to your Mum. She is at peace now.
Hugs :-)

Lily my heart goes out to you. I thought that I had posted already but I guess that I did not. Your mom was a beautiful lady, thanks for sharing the photos. I'm so sorry for your loss <3

Thank you everyone, I still can't get my head together to post something but I'll get round to it eventually x

Hang in there and allow yourself to grieve. I found it to be a shock when I no longer had my caregiving duties. Even though we lose a bit of our loved one every day to dementia, it's still hard to come to grips with the final loss. Hugs to you.

Lily! i'm so sorry I don't get by as much, and I'm really sorry to hear Ibvy passed.
She is very handsome in her suit and tie picture. Very nice.
